Faith Veterinary Hospital has reopened after a rebuilding phase to meet the growing needs of families and individuals for honest, transparent, and consistent care of their pets. Our urgent care facility is fully equipped with digital radiology, ultrasonography, in house laboratory and microscopy, a surgical and dental suite and an in house pharmacy; all designed to aid in properly diagnosing your pet to promote evidence based reliable veterinary medical treatment, one pet at a time! Our veterinarians are passionate about caring for your pet(s) and hence your family through the skills, knowledge and nuggets of wisdom accumulated in the practice of veterinary medicine over the past 15 plus years! We are a Fear Not practice and have been trained in fear free care. We accept walk in appointments however for a shorter wait time, please schedule easily and quickly online as scheduled appointments take priority. Good news! As of 6/11/25, Faith Veterinary Hospital is open to fill a niche when your regular veterinarian is closed.
*Our hours are Monday to Saturday from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM. Additional daytime hours outside of these times are available during weekdays for surgery and dentistry and will be listed on our online booking tab or you can schedule by calling us.
Our Services
Exceptional veterinary urgent care, after hours wellness care, surgery and dentistry for your pets, when they (and you) need it most! Did you know, many of the cases seen at emergency veterinary hospitals can be amply cared for by our hospitals veterinary urgent care / emergency service? On occasion, pets which need additional veterinary emergency care and monitoring overnight are referred to local overnight emergency care centers after preparation for a hopeful successful outcome.
Veterinary Urgent Care
Many cases presented to veterinary emergency hospitals can be cared for by our veterinary urgent care service. Our urgent care service is fully equipped with digital radiology, comprehensive veterinary diagnostic laboratory, plus veterinary pharmacy to aid in evidence based diagnosis and treatment of urgent care needs of pets. On occasion, when a pet needs additional intensive overnight care we aim to best prepare the pet for successful extended care at a local veterinary emergency hospital and provide referral.
Veterinary Wellness Care
OK, it happens on occasion, your pet urgently needs vaccines updated today (or should we say tonight) or it is difficult to find time during weekdays to schedule a veterinary appointment for your pet. We are here to meet these needs as well at hours most daytime veterinary care centers are unavailable. Breathe easy, you are still going to make the deadline and be ok at the boarders or groomers or daycare.
Veterinary Surgical Care
Our surgery suite is well equipped to handle the majority of veterinary urgent surgical cases (outside of orthopedic surgery) with anesthesia monitoring and fluid therapy to boot. Our goal, is to return your pet to health as efficiently and effectively as possible. In addition, we offer routine daytime surgery hours to care for urgent wellness surgical needs as well; check our online booking calendar for availability to schedule online wellness surgical needs today!

Our dedicated veterinarian, Dr. Davis has provided exceptional veterinary care to dogs and cats in the Lake Norman area for over 12 years and counting. Dr. Davis, grew up on a cattle farm in Florida, and is a 2008 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. He is grateful for having been instructed by and to have worked alongside some of the best veterinarians in the fields of urgent care, emergency medicine, and companion animal vet medicine and also had the unique opportunity to work with the team of the state veterinarian of Florida where he was employed as a veterinary manager for the State of Florida!
Dr. Davis has a passion for urgent care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, cardiology, wellness, surgery, and even some dentistry. Dr. Davis considers his greatest achievement to be the Daddy of five amazing children (Bethany, Paul, Lydia, Abigail & Timothy) whom he loves with all of his heart.
When he's not caring for animals, Dr. Davis treasures his time spent with family, enjoys fishing and hunting and occasionally indulges in his hobby of mechanic work. He also enjoys spending time with his wonderful church family at First Baptist Church of Concord, NC.
